Taylor Owen
Taylor has been hosting bake sales for years. Recently she added fun baking videos to help others with her baking tips. Videos like these are a great way to promote your upcoming bake sale. Or videos can be posted on social media with your fundraising webpage to raise funds online.
Barbara Ellard
Barbara hosted a safe, socially distanced bake sale early on in the pandemic. She took orders by email and had a one hour pick up time in the town park. Cookie and brownie platters covered in plastic wrap were delivered to customers in their cars by volunteers wearing gloves and masks.
Michael Platt
Michael may only be 13 but he’s already a whiz in the kitchen and a bona fide hunger hero. The aspiring baker completed his second bake sale this past September. And he’s already started his own baking business. Instead of dreams of getting rich, Michael’s desire is to give something back. Young heroes like Michael give us hope for the future. And he’s just getting started.
